The Keysight U2044XA is part of the U2040 X-Series Wide Dynamic Range Power Sensors family, offering USB connectivity and the world's widest dynamic range in a power sensor. It is designed for accurate, repeatable peak and average power measurements of any modulated signal, from wireless chipset manufacturing to radar pulse analysis.

The U2040 X-Series employs a 4-path diode stack design with parallel data acquisition paths, enabling seamless range transition with high accuracy and repeatability. All diodes operate in their square law region, allowing the sensor to function similarly to thermocouple sensors for accurate RMS power of broadband modulated signals.

The sensor supports all common wireless signal formats including LTE, LTE-Advanced (100 MHz bandwidth), and WLAN 802.11ac (80/160 MHz bandwidth), as well as radar pulse parameter measurements with built-in radar and wireless presets and auto burst detection.
