The Keysight E8486A is a waveguide power sensor designed for precise and direct average power measurements in the E-band (60 to 90 GHz) frequency range. Featuring a WR-12 / UG-387/U flange connector, it connects directly to standard WR-12 waveguide systems without the need for additional adapters, making it ideal for radar, satellite communications, aerospace, and millimetre-wave test applications.

The sensor employs Modified Barrier Integrated Diode (MBID) technology, operating in the square-law characteristic for true-average detection. Its excellent standing wave ratio minimises the most common source of power measurement error — sensor-to-source mismatch — while the 50 MHz calibration port eliminates variance between different meter/sensor combinations and provides traceability to the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at millimetre-wave frequencies.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.

• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
