The Keysight CX3324A is a 4-channel device current waveform analyzer from the CX3300A series, designed to measure dynamic current and voltage waveforms with the bandwidth and sampling rate of an oscilloscope, the sensitivity and low noise of a DMM, and the long-duration recording capability of a data logger — all in a single instrument. It is optimised for characterising power rails, power delivery networks, and power integrity of power-sensitive devices including IoT, mobile, medical, and automotive applications.

The CX3324A accepts signals from Keysight CX-series current sensors and passive probe interface adapters across all four channels, and digitises them at up to 1 GSa/s. Resolution is switchable between 14-bit (high speed mode) and 16-bit (high resolution mode) via the front-panel High Reso button. Bandwidth and memory depth are field-upgradable via licence options.

On-board analysis functions include Automatic Power and Current Profiler, Power Measurement Wizard, FFT Analyzer, and Statistical Analysis. The 14.1-inch WXGA capacitive touchscreen provides a familiar, easy-to-use graphical interface. Connectivity includes LAN (LXI), USB 2.0/3.0, DisplayPort, and VGA.

The CX1102A dual-channel current sensor (typically paired with this mainframe) uses simultaneous capture technology across a primary and secondary channel — synchronised with a 100× range difference — enabling wide dynamic range measurements (over 100 dB) in a single acquisition, ideal for devices transitioning between sleep and active states.
