The unit features 6 data POD connectors, a CLK POD, an Option Connector port on the rear, and front-panel SMA outputs (D0p, D0n, D1p, D1n, D2p, D2n, Clkp, Clkn, USER CLK, S0) with DATA and CLK status LEDs. The unit is supplied as-is with no accessories.

The Keysight (formerly Agilent Technologies) N4861B is a MIPI D-PHY 3-Lane Digital Stimulus Probe designed to generate real-time deterministic digital serial stimulus of the MIPI D-PHY interface. Used in conjunction with the N4851B MIPI D-PHY acquisition probe and a Keysight 16800 or 16900 Series logic analyser (68-channel or more) with a pattern generator, the N4861B enables engineers to independently debug and test MIPI D-PHY components or integrate MIPI D-PHY-based mobile designs.

The probe supports both DSI (Display Serial Interface) and CSI-2 (Camera Serial Interface) protocols, covering the full range of mobile camera and display test applications. It connects to the device under test (DUT) via 50-ohm coaxial SMA connectors. The stimulus signals will not be driven until the DUT is powered and the N4851A/B acquisition probe confirms DUT power status.
