The Keysight (formerly Agilent) 34907A is a multifunction plug-in module designed for use with the 34970A Data Acquisition/Switch Unit. It occupies a single slot and provides a combination of digital I/O, totalising, and analogue output capabilities in one compact module, reducing the need for external signal conditioning hardware.

Key features include two independently configurable 8-bit digital I/O ports (TTL/CMOS compatible), a 100 kHz gated totalizer with threshold-configurable input, and two 16-bit ±12 V analogue output (DAC) channels. Digital input ports and the totalizer channel can be included in the instrument scan list, with threshold-based alarm outputs assignable to the 34970A alarm outputs. The DAC outputs are earth-referenced and can be used to drive setpoints, actuators, or analogue control signals.
