The Kaelus RTF-2000A is a Range To Fault (RTF) module that accurately identifies the location of PIM and Return Loss faults in the RF path. It features a highly intuitive touch screen interface and allows operators to overlay PIM and Return Loss vs. distance data for superior fault diagnosis. Before PIM testing, the module performs a Return Loss safety check to warn the operator before transmitting high RF power into a poor match, reducing the risk of damage. Compatible with any RTF-Enabled series PIM test instrument from Kaelus.

The Kaelus RTF-2000A Ranger is a Range To Fault module designed to work in conjunction with RTF-Enabled Kaelus series PIM test instruments. It enables wireless network operators to accurately locate passive intermodulation (PIM) and Return Loss faults within RF feed systems, combining PIM and reflection data for superior fault identification. The module performs a Return Loss safety check prior to PIM testing and supports multiple analysis views without requiring the line under test to be disconnected.

Return Loss Display: Max Return Loss (from FFT analysis) displayed on the main PIM test screen when RTF module is attached
