The Jenway 6715 is a versatile, full-featured UV/Vis spectrophotometer designed for demanding laboratory environments. With a wavelength range of 190–1100 nm and a 1.5 nm spectral bandwidth, it meets the requirements of EP and USP pharmacopoeial methods, making it well suited to pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental, and life science applications.

The instrument features a large colour TFT touchscreen with QWheel™ rotary navigation for intuitive operation. Measurement modes include absorbance, transmittance, concentration, kinetics, multi-wavelength, and full spectrum scanning. Sealed split-beam optics combined with a pulsed xenon light source deliver stable baselines and excellent long-term reproducibility without the need for warm-up delays.

The modular sample compartment accepts a range of plug-in accessories including multi-cell turrets, flow-through cells, and temperature-controlled cuvette holders, providing flexibility for a wide variety of laboratory workflows. Data can be stored to internal memory or exported via SD card or USB, with standard USB and Centronics printer ports also available. Secure multi-user operation allows PIN-based access control to restrict method creation and modification.
