The JDSU (now Viavi Solutions) CellAdvisor JD785B is a high-performance, multi-function base station analyzer designed for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of wireless cell sites. It combines spectrum analysis, cable and antenna analysis, interference analysis, signal analysis, and RF/optical power metering into a single rugged, portable, cloud-enabled instrument — ideal for harsh field environments.
The JD785B supports all major wireless technologies from 2G through to 4G LTE-Advanced, including WCDMA/HSPA and OTA (Over-the-Air) analysis. Its Auto-Measure function provides one-button standards-based RF and modulation analysis, while the dual spectrogram view aids rapid interference identification. The instrument is cloud-enabled via VIAVI StrataSync for remote management, software updates, and licence delivery.
