The Ixia (Keysight) IxVeriWave WBE1604 is a 4-port WaveBlade Ethernet line-card designed for comprehensive Layer 2–7 functional and performance testing of Ethernet-based networking products. It installs into the IxVeriWave WT20 (2-slot) or WT92/WT90 (9-slot) chassis and interworks seamlessly with WaveBlade Wi-Fi (WBW/WBA) modules to simulate complex wired and wireless networking environments.

Each of the four RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports generates fully interleaved, multi-protocol IP traffic from hundreds of independent, fully stateful Ethernet clients or servers at wire-speed, enabling large-scale functional and performance validation of APs, broadband home gateways, controllers, switches, and routers.
