It features four SMA RF ports (labelled A, B, C, D) on the front panel with Port 1 status/activity LEDs, and is supplied as pictured with the module only.

The Ixia (Keysight) IxVeriWave RF36014 is an 802.11ac RF WaveBlade load module designed for industry-leading functional and performance testing of IEEE 802.11-based WLAN networking products. It integrates control-plane simulation, traffic generation and analysis, and multi-path channel emulation capabilities on a single platform, making it a powerful one-stop solution for validating 802.11-based products.

The RF36014 is built around a real-time PHY layer architecture — rather than using memory-buffer techniques common in traditional Vector Signal Generators (VSGs) and Vector Signal Analysers (VSAs), the module processes every frame in real time with no memory-length limitations, enabling worst-case measurements over extended test periods. It is used within the IxVeriWave WT20 and WT92 chassis for Wi-Fi testing ranging from AP-level functional testing and interoperability analysis to large-scale 802.11ac infrastructure testing.
