The Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis System (Cat. No. G9100) is an all-in-one benchtop system designed for fast and convenient high-throughput E-Gel agarose gel electrophoresis, from DNA sample loading to gel imaging. With dry precast E-Gel agarose gel technology, DNA samples can be run in as little as 10 minutes with real-time separation monitoring. It is the only benchtop system that seamlessly integrates high-throughput DNA sample separation and gel imaging into one workflow.

The system consists of a base module containing a power supply, blue-light transilluminator, and amber filter, paired with a camera module capable of high-resolution image capture and documentation. The cable-free camera docks directly onto the electrophoresis base, enabling image capture during a run without interrupting the workflow. High-resolution images are captured digitally without the need for focusing or adjustment.

The 8-inch touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for real-time gel viewing, image capture, editing, and export. The system supports connectivity to cloud platforms, internal servers, and direct printing from the instrument. iBright Image Analysis software is included.

Compatible gel types include E-Gel, E-Gel EX, E-Gel 48, E-Gel 96, and E-PAGE gels. The system supports 11- to 22-well and up to 96-well E-Gel agarose gel formats. Precast gels are pre-stained with SYBR Safe or SYBR Gold II DNA stains, eliminating the need for gel preparation, buffer handling, or post-run staining.
