The Countess II Automated Cell Counter (AMQAX1000) is a fully automated cell counter and assay platform from Invitrogen (Thermo Fisher Scientific) that uses state-of-the-art optics and advanced image analysis algorithms to analyse trypan blue-stained cells in suspension. Designed for ease of use in life science and cell biology laboratories, it delivers fast, reliable, and reproducible cell count and viability data without the subjectivity of manual haemocytometer counting.

Cells are loaded using disposable Countess Cell Counting Chamber Slides, each containing two enclosed chambers to allow measurement of two different samples or duplicate replicates in a single run. The instrument requires only 10 seconds per sample and is compatible with a wide variety of eukaryotic cell types.

In addition to total cell count and percentage viability, the Countess II also reports cell size distribution, providing valuable additional data for cell culture quality control and experimental consistency.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
