The INTEGRA Biosciences Viaflo Assist is a personal pipetting assistant designed to automate VIAFLO II electronic multichannel pipettes, freeing laboratory staff from repetitive pipetting tasks and reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries.

The system mounts directly onto compatible VIAFLO II 8-, 12-, or 16-channel electronic pipettes. The pipette communicates with the Assist station via Bluetooth, transmitting the selected pipetting protocol, which the station then executes automatically. This ensures that critical parameters such as tip immersion depth and pipetting angle are identical on every repeat, dramatically improving reproducibility compared to manual handheld pipetting.

Three built-in predefined protocols — Serial Dilution, Repeat Dispense, and Variable Dispense — allow a rapid start, while custom protocols programmed on the pipette are seamlessly transferred to and executed by the station.
