Illumina MiniSeq DNA Sequencer System, REF SY-420-1001, manufactured March 2016, serial number MN00175, with a low run count of just 22. A partial on-screen system check was carried out. Motion (FCLM FAM Mechanical, Stage Tests), Optics (Flow Cell Registration), and Thermal (Fans, Thermal Probes) all passed. Fluidics checks failed (PressureDecay1, Sensor Verify, Flow Rate) — we do not have the equipment or consumables to further test or diagnose these failures. Sold as-is for parts, repair, or by a buyer with the means to service the fluidics system.

The Illumina MiniSeq System (REF SY-420-1001) is a benchtop next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform that delivers proven Illumina sequencing-by-synthesis (SBS) technology in a compact, accessible format. Designed for on-demand sequencing in research laboratories of all sizes, the MiniSeq integrates clonal amplification, sequencing, and base calling into a single instrument, eliminating the need for additional specialised equipment. The system features a 2-channel SBS chemistry for fast, accurate data generation, a touchscreen interface, and onboard Local Run Manager (LRM) software for run setup, monitoring, and automated data analysis. Data can also be transferred to Illumina's BaseSpace Sequence Hub for cloud-based analysis, archiving, and sharing. The MiniSeq supports a wide range of applications including targeted amplicon sequencing, targeted gene expression profiling, enrichment panel sequencing, small RNA (miRNA) profiling, and small whole-genome sequencing.
