Product Overview

Condition: Used — Good working condition.

The GW Instek GPL-5010 is a transient limiter commonly used in EMI testing applications. When a system experiences an unexpected power outage or sudden errors from the power supply terminal, large transient signals can enter a spectrum analyser and cause damage. The GPL-5010 disrupts these large signals before they reach the equipment, protecting both the terminal circuit and the analyser itself. It features a BNC(F) to N(M) connector configuration for use with the GSP-9330 Spectrum Analyzer, and together with the GLN-5040A Two Line V-Network, it constitutes a complete EMI test system.

Applications include:
• Power supply design (switch-mode and linear)
• Inverter and transformer design
• LED illumination design
• Electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing
• Terminal circuit protection
