The Fujikura 12S is the world's smallest, lightest and most portable fusion splicer available. Despite its incredibly compact size, this ruggedised, full-featured unit offers unmatched versatility for splicing in the most challenging field environments. The innovative transit case and work tray provide multiple configurations for efficient use of available workspace, while the long-life battery delivers power for up to 100 splice cycles including heat shrink sleeve application.

The Fujikura 12S incorporates features typically found only in more expensive models. The large 4.5" TFT colour monitor provides a crystal-clear image even in direct sunlight, enabling accurate evaluation of splice quality. Extended-life electrodes are rated to 3,000 splices, minimising downtime for replacement. Software updates are delivered via the internet, allowing users to stay current with new splice programmes. The fully ruggedised chassis offers shock, dust and moisture protection, while the dual-camera observation system provides precise fibre alignment and accurate loss estimation. The 12S is also fully compatible with the FuseConnect line of fusion installable connectors.
