This Fluke 1653B Multifunction Installation Tester is in used condition and cosmetically good. Each unit has been tested and confirmed working across all primary measurement functions.

The tester covers the full range of fixed-wiring installation tests required under BS 7671 / IEC 60364, including insulation resistance (50–1000 V), low-resistance continuity, no-trip and high-current loop impedance, RCD trip time and trip current testing, earth resistance (loop method), phase rotation, and live voltage / polarity checking. The dual display simultaneously presents loop impedance and prospective fault current (PEFC/PSC). Extended memory allows test results to be stored and downloaded to a PC using Fluke DMS or FlukeView Forms software.

Each unit is supplied with the Fluke C1600 hard carry case and other accessories as pictured.

The Fluke 1653B Multifunction Installation Tester verifies the safety of electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial applications, ensuring fixed wiring is safe and correctly installed to meet the requirements of IEC 60364, HD 384, EN 61557, and BS 7671.

Building upon the rugged 1650 Series, the 1653B introduces enhanced productivity features including a dual display that measures and shows PEFC/PSC and loop impedance simultaneously — saving more than 50% of test time compared to conventional loop testers. A high current loop test mode delivers faster measurements than the standard non-trip mode. Extended memory allows test results to be stored on the instrument and downloaded to a PC via FlukeView Forms or Fluke DMS software for certificate generation. The Earth Volt Touchpad detects raised earth voltages above 50 V, warning of potentially dangerous situations before testing begins. The unique zero adapter provides fast, reliable compensation for test leads and mains cords. The instrument weighs less than 1.3 kg and withstands a 1 metre drop.
