The Fairview Microwave MPR18F-2 is a 2-way resistive RF power divider and combiner designed for broadband applications from DC to 18 GHz. The resistive topology provides exceptionally wide bandwidth coverage, including operation down to DC — a capability unique to resistive designs — making it well-suited for use with network analysers, signal generators, power sensor calibration, and general laboratory signal distribution tasks. The unit features three SMA female connectors: one input port (port 1) and two output ports (ports 2 and 3), all housed within a compact stainless-steel body.

As a resistive (lossy) divider, each output port receives nominally 6 dB below the input power level, which includes the inherent 3 dB split loss plus an additional 3 dB resistive loss. This design ensures excellent impedance matching at all ports and a flat frequency response across the full operating band.
