This is an EXFO PM-1v2-2X-VFL power meter and visual fault locator module removed from an EXFO FTB-1 Pro platform. The power meter port does not include a connector — a suitable connector (LC, ST, FC, etc.) can be purchased separately to match your fibre type. The VFL port is fitted with a 2.5mm connector.

Please note: no optical connector is fitted to the power meter port. The VFL is equipped with a 2.5mm connector.

The EXFO PM-1v2 is an optical power meter module designed for integration into the EXFO FTB-1 Pro modular test platform. It combines passive optical power measurement with a built-in visual fault locator (VFL), providing field technicians with two essential fibre optic test functions in a single compact module.

The power meter accepts interchangeable optical connectors, allowing adaptation to LC, ST, FC, SC, and other common connector types depending on the network under test. The integrated VFL operates at 650 nm (visible red light) and uses a standard 2.5mm universal connector, making it compatible with most common fibre patch cords and adaptors.

Typical applications include fibre optic installation verification, optical loss measurement, fault localisation, and routine network maintenance. When installed in the FTB-1 Pro mainframe, the module integrates fully with the platform's software and user interface.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is not as specified, in which case we will arrange a prepaid return label.
