The EXFO MaxTester MAX-FIP is a rugged, tablet-inspired fiber optic certifier mainframe designed to simplify and accelerate the critical inspection and certification of fibre connectors. It is intended for use by network installers, contractors, and telecommunications technicians performing fibre-patch-panel certification and endface inspection routines.

The MAX-FIP transforms fibre inspection into a faster and simplified one-step process, providing accurate and consistent test results and preventing the reporting of false-positive results. Connector inspection using automated analysis software to assess connector quality is an essential step during fibre commissioning and installation and an integral part of best practices.

The MAX-FIP features the largest touchscreen display in its class — a bright 7-inch touchscreen — enabling high-magnification viewing of fibre endfaces for precise identification of defects such as scratches, pits, and contamination. Its icon-based graphical user interface (GUI) allows technicians to easily navigate between applications including connector inspection, connector analysis, optical power measurement, and visual fault locator (VFL) troubleshooting. Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
