EXFO FTB-500 Platform
The FTB-500 is EXFO's advanced modular test platform, available in four-slot (QTR) and eight-slot (OCT) configurations. It houses any of EXFO's FTB plug-and-play modules, enabling users to combine physical and optical characterisation applications with transport and datacom test modules covering 10G, 40G and 100G network analysis. The platform runs a Windows-based OS on an Intel processor, features a colour touchscreen display, and connects via USB, Wi-Fi, 3G, VPN and Bluetooth. It is compatible with EXFO Connect for cloud-based asset management and GPS-enabled location tracking.

FTB-5800 CD Analyzer
The FTB-5800 is a chromatic dispersion (CD) analyser module for the FTB-500 platform. Using the phase-shift method, it delivers fast and accurate CD measurements across the C and L bands. It is designed for 100 Gbit/s-ready network characterisation, supporting in-service and out-of-service testing on both single-mode and dispersion-shifted fibres. It pairs with the FLS-5834A light source for complete two-ended CD measurement.

FTB-5500B PMD Analyzer
The FTB-5500B is a polarisation mode dispersion (PMD) analyser module for the FTB-500 platform. It measures PMD across a wide wavelength range using the Jones Matrix Eigenanalysis (JME) and Fixed Analyser methods. It is suitable for characterising installed fibres, cables, and components to assess their suitability for high-bit-rate transmission.

FLS-5834A CD/PMD Analyzer Source
The FLS-5834A is a dedicated broadband light source designed to work in conjunction with the FTB-5800 and FTB-5500B modules for complete two-ended CD and PMD measurements in the field. It provides the illumination required for phase-shift CD and PMD analysis across the supported wavelength ranges.

• Shipping Costs: These are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method, destination and package dimensions.
• CUSTOMS AND TAXES: It is YOUR responsibility to liaise with customs in your country and ensure your package is cleared and any taxes are paid.
• Shipping Destinations: We ship worldwide.
• Tracking: Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email.
• Insurance: All shipments are insured. In case of damage, please contact us via email within 48 hours of receiving the product with photographic evidence, please also ensure a report is logged with the delivery driver.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is not as specified, in which case we will arrange a prepaid return label.
