EXFO FTB-5240S-P — Optical Spectrum Analyzer
The FTB-5240S is a highly accurate, easy-to-use intelligent optical spectrum analyser (OSA) designed for analysis of CWDM and DWDM networks. It plugs into the EXFO FTB-500 modular platform, combining lab-quality performance with field-ready portability. The -P variant includes an integrated polarisation controller for polarisation-dependent measurements.
The FTB-5240S provides the flexibility and power required for manufacturing, installing, commissioning, managing, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting DWDM network elements. With excellent optical rejection ratio (ORR), resolution bandwidth, wavelength range and dynamic range, the FTB-5240S OSA is suited to any DWDM test challenge.
The FTB-500 platform runs a Windows-based OS on an Intel processor, features a 12.1-inch colour touchscreen display (800 x 600), and supports USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. It is available in 4-slot (QTR) and 8-slot (OCT) configurations.
