This EXFO FTB-200 V2 unit houses the FTB-5240S-P optical spectrum analyser module and is activated with both the INB (in-band OSNR) and ADV (Advanced) options. The OSA has been tested and confirmed within specification. Cosmetically the unit shows signs of use but the screen is in good condition. Supplied as pictured.

The EXFO FTB-5240S-P is a high-performance optical spectrum analyser module designed for the EXFO FTB-200 V2 portable platform. It provides comprehensive DWDM network testing and characterisation capabilities, combining wide wavelength coverage with high dynamic range and resolution suitable for both lab and field environments.

The FTB-5240S-P supports passive and active DWDM network testing, including channel power, wavelength, OSNR, and in-band OSNR (INB) measurements on modulated signals — a critical requirement for 40G and 100G coherent networks where traditional out-of-band OSNR methods are insufficient.

The FTB-200 V2 platform is a rugged, modular field tester that accepts a range of EXFO test modules. It features a high-visibility colour touchscreen, long battery life, and a lightweight chassis designed for outside plant and central office deployment.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being recieved which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
