The FTB-730 is a singlemode OTDR module for the FTB-1 platform, designed for the characterisation, installation, and maintenance of singlemode optical fibre networks. The 234B-EI variant provides tri-band operation at 1310, 1550, and 1625 nm, enabling standard OTDR testing alongside dedicated 1625 nm out-of-band monitoring for live-fibre inspection without service disruption.
Typical applications include fibre acceptance testing, fault location, splice and connector loss measurement, and in-service fibre monitoring on FTTH, metro, and long-haul networks.
