The EXFO FTB-1 Pro (FTB-1v2 Pro) is a compact, portable modular test platform designed for optical, Ethernet, TDM, and multiservice field testing. It accepts plug-in test modules such as the FTB-880v2 NetBlazer and supports testing from legacy networks up to 10G and beyond.
The FTB-880v2 NetBlazer module provides comprehensive Ethernet service activation and troubleshooting capabilities, supporting 10G and 1G LAN/WAN interfaces. It enables EtherBERT pattern testing, RFC 2544 benchmarking with Smart Loopback, EtherSAM per ITU-T Y.1564 for service turn-up, and RFC 6349 TCP layer throughput testing — making it suitable for carrier Ethernet, enterprise, and data centre network commissioning.
The FTB-1 Pro platform features a quad-core processor running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, an 8-inch (20.3 cm) multitouch display at 1280 x 800 resolution, and extensive connectivity including USB 2.0, USB 3.0, RJ-45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and MicroSD. Power is supplied via a 24 V DC / 3.75 A external AC adapter.
