The EXFO FPM-300 is a handheld optical power meter and part of EXFO's FTTx-ready field test instrument family, which also includes the FLS-300 Light Source and the FOT-300 Optical Loss Test Set. It is designed to test passive optical networks (PONs) at the three ITU-T G.983.3 recommended wavelengths of 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm, making it well suited to FTTx/GPON deployment and maintenance work.

The FPM-302 variant uses a Germanium (Ge) detector port and delivers a power measurement range of +10 to –60 dBm with a displayed range down to –65 dBm. With 10 factory-calibrated wavelengths and a power uncertainty of ±5% ±1 nW, it provides reliable, traceable measurements in the field. The instrument features automatic wavelength recognition when used alongside compatible EXFO sources (FLS-300 / FOT-300), which transmit a digital encrypted wavelength-identification protocol, eliminating the need for manual coordination between technicians. Signal encryption also supports distant referencing, allowing reference power levels to be communicated between instruments even when they are far apart. The instrument's unique design removes the requirement for offset nulling, reducing measurement time in typical field scenarios.

• CUSTOMS AND TAXES: It is YOUR responsibility to liaise with customs in your country and ensure your package is cleared and any taxes are paid.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
