These EXFO FOT-600 optical loss test sets are in excellent used condition, tested and confirmed working within manufacturer specifications.

Each unit is the FOT-602X-234BL-EI-VFL configuration, which features a high-power Germanium detector, a three-wavelength single-mode laser source (1310 nm, 1550 nm and 1625 nm), and an integrated 650 nm Visual Fault Locator (VFL). The power meter port uses an FOA-22 FC-style adapter. USB connectivity enables data transfer to PC using the included EXFO ToolBox software.

The EXFO FOT-600 Optical Loss Test Set is part of EXFO's 600 handheld series and is designed as the ideal tool for network-link qualification, combining a power meter and light source in a single portable unit.

The FOT-602X-234BL-EI-VFL variant features a high-power Germanium detector with measurement capability up to +26 dBm, a three-wavelength single-mode laser source at 1310 nm, 1550 nm and 1625 nm, and an integrated 650 nm Visual Fault Locator. In Auto-Switching mode, the light source automatically toggles between available wavelengths and the power meter automatically recognises the wavelength in use and switches to the correct calibration parameter — eliminating offset nulling and reducing measurement errors. Over 40 calibrated wavelengths including all CWDM wavelengths are supported, and the Hold Min/Max Power function enables measurement of power bursts and fluctuations. With 1000-result memory and USB PC transfer via EXFO ToolBox software, complete pass/fail test reports can be generated and certified. The unit is PON-ready, supporting testing at 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm per ITU-T G.983.3.
