The EXFO FLS-140 is a highly efficient pocket-size visual fault locator and the ideal complementary tool for any fibre-testing technician. It is the easiest way to identify optical fibres from end to end and locate polished connector endfaces. Its red laser shines through most yellow-jacketed optical fibres to help pinpoint breaks, bends, faulty connectors, splices and other causes of signal loss. The FLS-140 locates faults visually by creating a bright red glow at the exact location of the fault on singlemode or multimode optical fibres, with a reach of up to 5 km.

With a pocket-size pen-style design and anodised aluminium casing, the FLS-140 is lightweight, durable and easily portable for field use. Powered by two standard AAA alkaline batteries, it delivers up to 40 hours of typical operation, making it extremely cost-effective for everyday fibre fault finding — including in OTDR dead zones.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is not as specified, in which case we will arrange a prepaid return label.
