The Keysight (formerly Agilent) N4692A is a microwave Electronic Calibration (ECal) module designed to make calibration of vector network analysers fast, easy, and accurate. It is part of the N4690 family of microwave ECal modules and uses fully traceable electronic impedance standards stored in the module's internal memory. During calibration, the module's stored S-parameter data is used to calculate error terms for the connected network analyser, delivering accuracy comparable to traditional mechanical calibration methods while dramatically reducing operator interaction and connection count.

The module is controlled directly via USB when used with Keysight PNA and ENA series network analysers. It can also be controlled via an 85097B interface kit when used with legacy analysers such as the Agilent 8753E/ES/ET or 8720D/ES/ET (requires a special parallel cable and firmware Rev. 7.74). A full two-port calibration is completed with a single connection, taking less than half the time of mechanical methods.
