The NucleoCounter NC-200 is a high-precision automated cell counter manufactured by ChemoMetec A/S (Gydevang 43, DK-3450 Allerød, Denmark). It is based on integrated fluorescence microscopy with dual fluorescence channels and image cytometry technology.

The instrument is designed to minimise human interference in cell counting. Using the disposable Via1-Cassette, all steps of pipetting, staining, and counting chamber loading are combined into a single operation — eliminating errors introduced during manual staining and pipetting. The Via1-Cassette contains immobilised fluorescent dyes acridine orange (AO) and DAPI that automatically stain total and dead cell populations respectively. The cassette is volume-calibrated using a dot code read by the instrument to ensure high-precision concentration calculations.

In a simple three-step workflow — load cassette, insert into instrument, press RUN — the NC-200 delivers results in less than 50 seconds. In a single step the instrument provides: total cell count, viability (%), cell diameter, and percentage of cells in aggregates.

The NC-200 is suited to research, bioprocessing, quality control, and GMP-regulated production environments. It supports counting of suspension cells, aggregated cells, CAR-T cells, stem cells (including adipose-derived and mesenchymal), and cells grown on microcarriers.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
