The Viavi T-BERD/MTS-2000 is a handheld modular test set for the installation, turn-up, and maintenance of optical fibres across enterprise, metro, and FTTx/access point-to-point or point-to-multipoint networks (PONs). Its modular design allows service providers maximum flexibility to scale their investment as networks evolve.

The platform supports the full range of essential fibre analysis tools including OTDR, connection inspection, CW light source, power meter, ORL, PON selective power meter, and CWDM optical spectrum analyser. Application modules used with the T-BERD/MTS-2000 are also compatible with the T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2 platform.
