The Viavi Solutions SmartClass Fiber OLP-88P (BN 2328/36) TruePON Tester is a compact, handheld passive optical network (PON) test instrument combining a professional GPON power meter with a built-in patch cord microscope (PCM). It is designed for field technicians performing GPON network service activation, acceptance testing, and fault resolution on live FTTH/PON networks.

Using built-in G-PON data analysis technology, the OLP-88P provides real-time, in-service measurement of fibre insertion loss, downstream and upstream power levels, and automatic ODN budget class detection. It uniquely identifies OLT and ONU/ONT devices by serial number and detects rogue and alien ONUs causing service disruptions — without interrupting live services.

The integrated patch cord microscope supports automated pass/fail fibre end-face inspection and certification, addressing the fact that over 75% of fibre network faults are attributed to connector contamination. The instrument stores up to 10,000 test results and supports professional certification report generation, making it ideal for first-time-right GPON network acceptance.

• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
