The Viavi (formerly JDSU) MTS 6000A V2 is a compact, modular, multi-application network test platform designed for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fibre optic and transport networks. The scalable single-module carrier design allows field technicians to configure the instrument for current and future testing requirements by swapping test modules.

The 8126D is a high-power singlemode OTDR module from the Viavi 8100 Series, designed for use with the T-BERD/MTS-6000A and MTS-8000 platforms. It delivers an exceptionally high dynamic range, enabling testing of very long singlemode fibre spans, long-haul trunk routes, and metro networks. The module supports dual-wavelength testing at 1310 nm and 1550 nm and is optimised for accurate event detection, splice loss measurement, connector loss analysis, and fault localisation across extended fibre links.

The MTS 6000A V2 platform features a colour touchscreen interface, hot-plug module compatibility, extended battery life, and support for a broad range of optional software applications including Expert OTDR, SMART TEST, integrated light source, and power meter functions. StrataSync cloud connectivity is supported for test data management and remote access.

• CUSTOMS AND TAXES: It is YOUR responsibility to liaise with customs in your country and ensure your package is cleared and any taxes are paid.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
