The Fujikura 70S (FSM-70S) is a core-to-core alignment single-fibre fusion splicer designed for splicing silica-based optical fibres used in telecommunications, PON, and FTTx networks. Incorporating Fujikura's proven ruggedised construction, the 70S delivers automated features that reduce manual steps and maximise splicing efficiency. A user-programmable automated wind protector closes automatically to initiate splicing and opens upon completion. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps prepare the fibre for removal after the tensile test. The clamshell-design tube heater heats both sides of the splice protection sleeve simultaneously, achieving a 14-second shrink time and a total splice process time of approximately 21 seconds. A mirrorless optical system and severe-impact-resistant monitor enhance long-term durability. The BTR-09 Li-ion battery supports approximately 200 splice/heating cycles per charge. The transit case doubles as an integrated mobile workstation.

The CT-30 High Precision Fibre Cleaver is a compact, lightweight cleaver suitable for single-fibre and up to 12-fibre ribbon cleaving. Its 16-position circular blade (3 height adjustments) yields up to 48,000 single-fibre cleaves before replacement, with a typical cleave angle of less than 0.5°. A built-in scrap collector automatically stores fibre shards for safe disposal.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
