Fujikura 70S Core Alignment Fusion Splicer
The Fujikura 70S is a single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer designed for high-volume splicing in demanding field and lab environments. Engineered to be more ergonomic, faster, and more durable than the preceding 60S series, it reduces splicing time to just seven seconds. A user-programmable automated wind protector closes automatically to initiate the splice and opens on completion, streamlining the splicing workflow. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps prepare the fibre for removal after the tensile test. A clamshell tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice protection sleeve for a 14-second shrink time, yielding a total cycle time of approximately 21 seconds. The mirror-less optical system and impact-resistant monitor enhance long-term durability. The innovative transit case doubles as a built-in or mobile workstation.

Fujikura CT-30 High Precision Fibre Cleaver
The CT-30 sets the standard for portability, reliability, and ease of use. Available for single-fibre or ribbon splicing (up to 12-fibre ribbons), it is compatible with all Fujikura/AFL fusion splicers. The 16-position blade yields 48,000 single-fibre cleaves (or 4,000 12-fibre ribbon cleaves) per blade, with a built-in scrap collector for safe disposal of fibre shards. The AD-30A adapter plate accommodates single fibres with 250–900 μm coating.
CT-30 Key Specifications:
Blade Life: 48,000 single-fibre cleaves (16 positions × 3 height settings)
Cleave Angle Capability: Typically <0.5°
Applicable Fibre: 125 μm cladding; coating 250–900 μm (single fibre with AD-30A)
Cleave Length (900 μm fibre): 10–20 mm
Cleave Length (250 μm fibre): 6–20 mm
