This Fujikura FSM-18R ribbon fusion splicer has been professionally cleaned and serviced by an approved service centre in May 2025. ARC count stands at 2203 and new electrodes have been fitted. The unit is an EU licensed model and the battery is included and confirmed to hold its charge. The CT-30 cleaver is supplied with its AD30A guide plate, case, and a new blade installed.

The Fujikura FSM-18R is a 4-fibre ribbon fusion splicer sharing the versatility and robust construction of the Fujikura 12-fibre ribbon splicer series. It is well-suited for FTTx and LAN applications and supports splicing of up to 4-fibre ribbons as well as individual single fibres.

The FSM-18R features a rugged chassis engineered to resist shock, dust, and moisture, and is rated to survive a 30-inch (762 mm) drop test, minimising operational downtime in the field.

Automated functions — including auto-start splicing, auto-start tube heater, automatic ribbon fibre identification, and auto-arc calibration — reduce the number of manual steps required and improve splice consistency. A dual-position monitor with automatic image orientation, simultaneous battery charging during splicer operation, and a large-capacity battery option further improve field productivity.

Included software enables splice data download to a PC for reporting, splicer firmware updates via the internet, and video image download for remote technical support. The FSM-18R is RoHS and WEEE compliant.

• CUSTOMS AND TAXES: It is YOUR responsibility to liaise with customs in your country and ensure your package is cleared and any taxes are paid.

• Tracking: Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email.
• Insurance: All shipments are insured. In case of damage, please contact us via email within 48 hours of receiving the product with photographic evidence, please also ensure a report is logged with the delivery driver.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
