Viavi Solutions (formerly JDSU) FBPT series scope tips are accessory tips designed for use with the P5000i and FiberChek FBP series fibre inspection probe systems. They attach to the BAPP-1 barrel assembly and allow inspection of fibre end-faces across a wide variety of connector formats, including LC, SC, and FC bulkhead connectors as well as 1.25mm and 2.5mm patchcord connectors.

When connected to a compatible P5000i or FiberChek FBP probe, the tips enable automated pass/fail fibre end-face inspection in accordance with IEC 61300-3-35 cleanliness standards, making them suitable for both field and laboratory use.
