The Iscar PICCO R007.0815-15 IC228 (EDP 6402442) is a solid carbide internal threading bar from Iscar's PICCO miniature tooling family, designed for 60° full-profile internal thread turning in small-diameter bores. It is part of the PICCO R/L-60°-Thread series, offering a complete threading solution for miniature and precision turning applications on CNC lathes and Swiss-type machines.

The IC228 grade is a TiN PVD-coated tough carbide grade suited to a wide range of workpiece materials at low-to-moderate cutting speeds, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, hard materials, and super-alloys/titanium.
