Both units have been fully tested and are in excellent working condition, with all results within specification. These are the MAX-940 QUAD ICERT version featuring a built-in InGaAs Power Meter and Visual Fault Locator. Connectors are PC/SC type. The QUAD configuration covers all four wavelengths (850/1300 nm multimode and 1310/1550 nm singlemode), enabling simultaneous SM and MM Tier-1 fiber certification in a single test pass.

EXFO MaxTester 940 (MAX-940) — Fiber Certifier OLTS

The EXFO MaxTester 940 is a fully featured Tier-1 fiber certifier with a tablet-inspired design, optimised for data centre and enterprise structured cabling certification. It is the first tablet-inspired test solution specifically designed to certify fibre cabling in data centres and enterprise networks, featuring an intuitive Windows-like user interface with icon-based functions and instant boot-up.

Full-fledged units at both ends: Both the main and remote units are full-fledged to maximise the efficiency of each technician. FasTesT results with diagnostics are displayed on both units at the end of each test. Both technicians can certify fibre connectors with a fibre inspection probe via the large touchscreens available on both units — the remote technician is no longer blind.

Onboard assistance and diagnosis: The MAX-940 provides a foolproof method against test cord reference mistakes and negative loss thanks to its step-by-step wizard that guides technicians through the referencing and verification process, as per industry standards. It goes further by diagnosing possible causes of fail results and providing guidance to fix issues.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
