The Sandvik Coromant CCMT 060204-UM 1115 is part of the CoroTurn® 107 system, optimised for internal and external turning of small and slender components. The sharp cutting edges and excellent chip control ensure a soft cutting action and low cutting forces, delivering an exceptional surface finish. The screw-clamp design ensures stability and unobstructed chip flow during turning.

Grade GC1115 combines the toughness and heat resistance of fine-grain cemented carbide with the wear resistance of a PVD TiAlN coating. This allows the grade to maintain sharp edges over a longer period in cut, while optimised micro-geometries ensure high component precision at low cutting forces. GC1115 is designed for finishing to medium machining in stainless steel, and medium to roughing in heat-resistant super alloys and titanium.
