The Viavi MTS 6000A V2 is a compact, touchscreen-equipped modular mainframe designed for field fibre optic testing. The platform accepts a range of plug-in modules, including OTDR, source, and power meter modules, making it a versatile all-in-one solution for fibre network technicians.

The 8126B Singlemode OTDR module delivers high-performance single-mode fibre characterisation across a wide range of network types, from short-reach enterprise installations to ultra-long-haul metro and core networks. With its short dead zones and high dynamic range, it enables accurate event detection and loss measurement across the full fibre span.
