The FTB-730 is a single-mode OTDR module for the FTB-1 platform, designed for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of optical fibre networks. The tri-band FTB-730-234B-EI variant supports 1310, 1550, and 1625 nm wavelengths, enabling standard fibre characterisation alongside live fibre testing at 1625 nm without interrupting active traffic.
Typical applications include fibre network installation and acceptance testing, fault location and troubleshooting, and maintenance of outside plant and premises cabling.
