From a Garage in Blackburn to the King's Award

In January 2021, Muhammad Geloo and Aziz Bham started TT Instruments from the back of Dock Street Garage in Blackburn. No investors. No loans. No prior experience. Just a belief that high-value precision instruments being released from corporate disposal cycles still had enormous useful life left in them.

Five years on, that belief has become a King's Award winning international business, exporting to over 70 countries worldwide with consistent year-on-year growth.

"We built this on a simple idea: that high-value instruments written off by large organisations deserve a second life — and that researchers and engineers around the world deserve access to equipment they cannot find anywhere else."

— Muhammad Geloo, Co-Director

Electronic Test & Measurement

Oscilloscopes, waveform generators, precision multimeters, electrical safety analysers

Telecoms Test Equipment

OTDR units, fibre optic analysers, fusion splicers, wireless and wired network testers

Countless small businesses Google Apple Rolls-Royce NHS Trusts Yuria-Pharm + multiple universities

A Business Built to Reduce Waste

We do not manufacture anything. We never have. Every instrument we sell already existed — we have extended its useful life, kept it out of the electronic waste stream, and ensured it continues to contribute to research, engineering and progress around the world.

Our Circular Economy Model

Electronic waste is one of the world's fastest-growing environmental challenges. Precision instruments are among the most resource-intensive objects manufactured. Every TT Instruments sale represents the carbon cost of new manufacture avoided entirely.

Year-on-Year Growth, Every Year Since Founding

The King's Award recognises more than doubling of export revenue over the three-year assessment period. Exports consistently account for 75–80% of our total turnover.

We offer fast, straightforward acquisition, handle all logistics, and ensure your equipment reaches active use rather than disposal.
